Your Checklist for a Smoother Move

Give each room a good once-over — dust shelves, wipe down surfaces, and tidy up closets. An organized home is easier to pack and helps our crew move efficiently through every room.

Begin with rooms and items you use least — guest bedrooms, seasonal gear, and decorations. Label every box with the room it belongs in and a brief description of contents. This makes unpacking a breeze.

Remove loose cushions, shelves, and glass tops. Disassemble bed frames and dining tables if possible. Keep all hardware in labeled bags taped to the furniture so nothing gets lost.

Back up important data, take photos of cable setups, and bundle cords with rubber bands. If you still have original boxes, use them — they're designed to keep your electronics safe during transit.

Defrost your freezer at least 24 hours ahead. Secure washer drums with transit bolts. Clean and dry all appliances. Tape doors shut so they stay closed during the move.
